Go low-glycemic, omnivore. Mark Hyman's pegan diet, Andrew Weil's anti-inflammatory diet, Stephen Sinatra's pan-Asian modified Mediterranean diet are all good. Organic non-GMO wherever possible.
You did not mention minerals in food. By some sources there 50% less iron in our food. Low iron in pregnant mothers may lead to physical and mental issues. We are not regulated by out total resources (minerals) but limited by our scarcest resource...including the microbiome.
oh, I love that word "Microbiom. A lot of people think it's just the gut. No we have many Microbiome systems within our body. It's a complete ecosystem and I've written about it. It's foundational and fundamental.
We have a small lab to double check our third party lab. We tested a few silver products against our probiotics. Little or no impact on growth. I postulate the reason silver heals cuts is due to the silver controlling pathogens and allowing the skin microbiome to heal.
