Of course, while the Democrats are certainly guilty of putting $$$ interests above health, the Republicans (including the father of Operation Warp Speed) are far far far worse. Look at the life expectancies, mortality rates, etc. of blue states versus red states. The truth may be unpopular but it is still the truth.

This is great news, but the battles against pesticide liability shields aren’t over and we must remain vigilant. Pesticide companies won’t rest until they enjoy the same immunity from harms caused that vaccine makers enjoy (of course, vaccine maker immunity must be repealed).

* Supreme Court: Bayer wants Supreme Court to rule on a case it lost in a lower court. If Supremes rule in favor of Bayer, here’s what happens: If the EPA doesn’t require a safety warning on a pesticide label, then states cannot require similar warnings — and consumers therefore cannot sue pesticide manufacturers for failing to warn them of potential health hazards
* State implementation of pesticide company liability shields (already passed in some, pending in others)
