My experience from working one-on-one with diabetics as a nutrition coach is that many get the best results from cutting out all carbohydrates for a time so insulin resistance can completely reverse. Sure, whole grains are absorbed slower than white flour, but when you're in a disease state, you need to take radical steps. Many also benefit from intermittent fasting along with carb restriction.
I find that total carb restriction is much easier for many people than trying to eat carbs in moderation. Carbs and sugar are extremely addictive but people find incredible freedom giving them up completely.
Many times doctors will tell me that once a patient has diabetes, it's hard to put them into full remission. However, I was able to get my own A1C down to 5.0 after being prediabetic, and this is substantially lower than the average person's who doesn't have diabetes. I think people are afraid that diabetics can't stick with a strict diet but I've found that they absolutely can and are often so thankful that I pushed them to do the hard thing and go after full remission instead of just managing their disease by emphazing whole grains instead of white grains. A diabetic's body is not able to process glucose so why not cut out all glucose for a time? There are many delicious, satisfying meals made with meats and vegetables!
There’s a new diabetes organization that Dr Ken Berry endorses.. the American Diabetes “Society”
Dr. Berry (internist & YT channel) is at war with the more well known
American Diabetes Association (ADA) ..
because of their diet protocol that is not only NOT optimal, but harmful as well.
Dr Berry sites research supporting his claim .. and countless testimonies of type 2 diabetics that have not only improved their health but many achieving total remission with the “proper human diet”…
and it’s NOT the protocol that the ADA recommends, which is heavily influenced by mega food corporations , like the Sugar and grain industries.
Dr Berry has many helpful videos on diabetes, insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, diet protocols , and explains the major differences between the ADA and ADS.
Also shared the info about Dr. Marik's Cancer Care book being unavailable at Amazon, here: https://substack.com/@bige47/note/c-69895973 (Amazon customers should protest and vote with their wallets until Dr. Marik's book is released to the public).
Interesting post. I would argue that low carb with no grains, sugar or seed oils would be a great diet for type 2 diabetes. Stay away from the so called healthy whole grains. They are not healthy.
Extremely grateful for your substack , and praying you get a positive response from Amazon. Censorship and being silenced ( as you know ) are real . God bless you all at FLCCC.
The single greatest thing you can do to start handling diabetes is measure your blood sugar before and after meals as Dennis Pollock teaches on his channel Beat Diabetes! This puts you in control. Your body teaches you what it is doing by way of readings on the glucometer aka blood sugar meter. And, here is the scoop on the new over-the-counter continuous glucose monitor (CGM) that Dennis reported the other day: I Wore a Dexcom Stelo CGM 15 days. Here are 8 things I learned about my blood sugar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWElG6V_TKQ
And, about Rybelsus, the semaglutide drug that some diabetics are being put on by their doctors. So a doctor treating type 2 diabetics prescribes Rybelsus. This is a daily pill containing semaglutide that is taken by some who are already injecting insulin. But, since it is a pill, it is hard to get it into the blood stream through the intestines so they add a little something extra as "other ingredient." The other ingredient is salcaprozate sodium which is an intestinal permeation enhancer. So now they have a body-wrecking drug expedited through their intestines by a second body-wrecking drug.
What Rybelsus contains • The active substance is semaglutide. Each tablet contains 3, 7 or 14 mg semaglutide. • The other ingredients are salcaprozate sodium, povidone K90, cellulose microcrystalline, magnesium stearate.
Very good article. Needs more emphasis on atarting off by stopping eating all rubbish carbs. Eat meat, animal fats and salad with olive oil and vinegar dressing to start with.
How to avoid viruses and illnesses? Rule Number One - AVOID ALL mRNA or SA-mRNA injections.
Rule 2 = Take away ZERO LIABILITY from vax makers = Job Done!

I am sure you have heard of Mr. Couey the PhD neuroscientist: stream.gigaohm.bio
No, I have not heard of him? Unjabbed Mick (UK).

Treating your type 2 diabetes this way. Will keep you on medications for the rest of your life.
Type 2 diabetes is an inability of your body to deal with the carbohydrates you eat.
If you stop eating the carbohydrates you won't need medication.
