The new guidelines are indeed good news & I’m thankful for the effort but how is the food going to be truly healthy when it is sprayed with glysophate & other toxins & is grown in soil with depleted minerals? And in addition alot of food has added hormones & maybe even MRNA🤷‍♀️ And what about Apeel??????

Good points, all.

We still need to buy organic non-GMO.

Glyphosate is not a toxin; it's synthetic. It is, however, toxic to shikimate dependent organisms.

Watch Bret Weinstein's new 308th Darkhorse podcast The Evolutionary Lens for a rebuttal to your comment. This includes a discussion of the fraudulent and now retracted review paper from 2000 on which you may be basing your opinion. Also referenced are the shikimate-dependent organisms that form part of the human biome and the court cases in which plaintiffs have been awarded compensation for health effects from ingesting glyphosate.

We are at last seeing what our real diets should look like. Now to improve the soil and get rid of pesticides. Thank you HHS and Rollins!

This is amazing progress, but there's a big contradiction with regard to saturated fat. Nina Teicholz wrote about this https://unsettledscience.substack.com/p/butter-is-not-back-the-broken-promise

At last, the Trump and Kennedy promises regarding unhealthy food marketing are taking shape!

I'd also recommend that you consider avoiding hospitals and the corrupt medical establishment, which regard you as an ongoing PROFIT OPPORTUNITY - for LIFE!

Ban mRNA injections, called 'vaccines' as they are deadly, unvalidated depopulation experiments!

Tear up the PREP Act, and the population might start to regain trust in the medical profession.

Just flip the food pyramid upside down. My friends and I would laugh about in HS.

There are four downloads near the bottom of the page: https://realfood.gov/

The first two will be of most interest to researchers. The second two are of more interest to the general public.

Becky Jennings has a good point, which is brought home forcefully and thoroughly in Elizabeth Kucinich's latest substack article:

https://kucinichreport.substack.com/p/what-a-spring-chicken-knows-that

She does the expected dismissal of meat for all the usual reasons, but acknowledges that the destruction of traditional farming by modern methods has created a combination of poisoning and nutrient decline. (One wonders how Pierre Kory's minerals might ameliorate this a bit.) She points to the USDA as one of the main problems; RFKJr would have had to ignore all these factors to the the USDA to sign on.
